Helping Each Other can Make World Better
Legal Aid and Rehabilitation Support
The project provides free legal aid and counseling services for victims of child marriages, child labor, and sexual abuse. It assists survivors in accessing government welfare schemes, enrolling in schools, and receiving vocational training. Additionally, UPHOLD ensures that children in distress are placed in safe shelter homes where they receive psychosocial support and rehabilitation services.
Impact and Outreach
Through its collaborative efforts, the Access to Justice Project has:
✅ Rescued and rehabilitated numerous children from child marriages and forced labor.
✅ Conducted awareness programs in multiple villages and schools, reaching thousands of students and parents.
✅ Strengthened child protection mechanisms at the grassroots level, equipping local stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to prevent child rights violations.
By creating a child-friendly ecosystem, UPHOLD is fostering a future where every child is protected, empowered, and given the opportunity to thrive.
