UPHOLD works to train local government officials, police personnel, teachers, and community leaders on early identification of vulnerable children, reporting mechanisms, and ensuring legal interventions. Through capacity-building programs, the organization enhances the effectiveness of village-level Child Protection Committees (CPCs) and strengthens the implementation of child protection laws like:

• The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006
• The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015
• The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012
