Awareness Programs in Villages and Schools

A significant aspect of the project is raising awareness among parents, adolescents, and community members about the legal, social, and health consequences of child marriages, child labor, and abuse. UPHOLD conducts:

• Village-level awareness campaigns to educate families on the laws and penalties related to child exploitation and the importance of education and child rights.
• Workshops and interactive sessions in schools and colleges to sensitize adolescent boys and girls on issues of gender equality, legal rights, and protection from abuse.
• Engagement with teachers and school management committees to strengthen child protection mechanisms within educational institutions.
